Pope, principal of Kenneth C. Pope Law, will be joined by Alison Licht, program co-ordinator of the family support program, and Dr. Ruth Baruch, psychiatrist at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto.
Attendees will learn about providing for loved ones now and after they’re gone, Henson Trusts and Lifetime Benefit Trusts, Guardianships, difficulties navigating the mental health system, how families can stay involved, confidentiality versus treatment planning, advocating for your loved one, navigating limitations, getting people certified, and the various forms involved.
Pope will also answer questions from attendees during the Q&A session. Those who would like to have their individual situation addressed should complete the family evaluation form. Any personal information is kept completely confidential.
